Barney

Barney is the definition of happy-go-lucky! This goofy, tail-wagging guy is always up for a good time and is ready to be your loyal sidekick. Whether it’s hiking trails, daily walks, or even a jog around the neighborhood, Barney brings the energy and enthusiasm to match your active lifestyle.
By the time he finishes training, Barney will be just shy of 2 years old. We believe he’s a Husky/Cattle Dog mix, which means he’s smart, driven, and thrives when given a job. Continued training—or even trying out a fun dog sport—would be perfect for keeping his sharp mind and active body engaged.
Rusty
Age: Approx 7yr 
Breed: Heeler Mix
Adoption Fee: $650
Other: Neutered, Microchipped & UTD on vaccines
Our mature guy Rusty we believe may be around 7.  He's not old - he's seasoned and ready to avoid shelters and rowdy young dogs.  Rusty is very chill and just wants to be with his people.  He may be a red heeler or cattle dog mix, but is well past that crazy stage.  With regular exercise he seems to be getting younger before our eyes so we know he has many good years of life to live with his forever family.  Rusty isn't a fan of other dogs in his face, but most are welcome if they respect his space.  We have not tested with cats or kids, but feel like with his chill personality he could co-habitate just fine and might even find a new bestie!  ​

ATHENA

Age: Approx 2yr 
Breed: Mixed Breed
Adoption Fee: $650

​Athena is a 2 year old mixed breed - we are guessing lab, boxer or staffy, and maybe even a little bit of Dane?  She has some traits of various breeds so I am sure a DNA test would be entertaining!  She is a very energetic girl, so a fenced yard, good exercise plan, and active family will be a good fit for her.  We don't know about her history as a stray, but she can be a little dog selective and we have not tested her yet with cats or kids. 

PARIS

Age: Approx 2yr 
Breed: Heeler Mix/Mixed Breed
Adoption Fee: $650

Paris is our sweet little blue heeler mix girl that we think is around 18 months old.  She can be a bit cautious and insecure in new situations, but bonds quickly with her people and has learned to trust them to take care of her. But she is so smart and quick to pick up new commands.  She was a stray that may not have had much of a typical dogs life before she found her way into a shelter.  She seems to find great joy in grass, has learned that sprinkler heads are not enemies, and that good treats get delivered when she is on her best behavior,  She seems to be just fine around similar size and larger dogs, and would learn to respect cats with some in-home training.
