Meet Yogi!
Yogi is a 10-month-old black Lab mix who is ready to find his forever home! He’s been in a foster home for about a month and is just waiting for someone to believe in him! While Yogi can be a little shy at first, once he feels comfortable, his sweet and loyal personality really shines. He has excellent house manners, knows to go to his crate when he needs some quiet time, and does great with kids and other dogs. He enjoys walks and hikes, and happily coexists with cats. Yogi isn’t a “lap dog” right away, but with a little patience and time to build trust, he’ll become a devoted best friend for life. Yogi would do best in a home that: is patient and willing to let him adjust at his own pace, doesn’t expect an instant cuddle buddy, may already have another dog or has a yard for him to explore Because we want to see him settled in a loving home soon, his adoption fee has been reduced to $500. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to give Yogi the time he needs to blossom, he could be the perfect fit for you. Meet Beethoven – the dog who proves love doesn't need words.
A 1 year old mixed breed, Beethoven has already spent at least half his life in a shelter—not because he isn't amazing, but because he's 100% deaf, and too few people have taken the time to learn his language. The good news? We have. Beethoven is learning sign language, and we'll provide one-on-one training with his adopters so you'll know exactly how to communicate with him. It's easier than you might think, and the bond you'll build is something truly special. His deafness even comes with a bonus—he sleeps peacefully through thunderstorms, fireworks, and all the chaos life throws his way! Beethoven is a sweet, friendly, affectionate "Velcro dog" who loves being close to his people. He's also happy relaxing in his crate and shows no signs of separation anxiety. He's learning how to "read the room" with people and other dogs and will be ready for his forever home in mid-August after completing his training. If you're looking for a dog who believes there's no such thing as being too close, Ollie is your guy. This sweet 1-year-old Aussie mix is happiest curled up in your lap or soaking up all the cuddles you'll give him. Ollie is a friendly, affectionate boy who we think will make a wonderful family companion. We're finding that he can be a little selective around some larger dogs, so we'll help find the right match for him. If your home is missing a professional snuggler, Ollie is ready to apply for the job! |

All dogs are neutered males, are up to date on vaccinations and have been microchipped. Their adoption price is $650 and includes an obedience class at the Domesti-PUPS headquarters in Lincoln to help build your new relationship!
