Frito is a 1 year old mixed breed - everyone has a different thought on his mix, but all agree it probably starts with a shepherd in his family tree. He was picked up as a stray and his owners did not wish to reclaim him. His puppy energy kept him from getting much attention in the shelter, but we've figured out he just needs guidance! He's around 40 lbs. and not expected to grow any more. Frito's nose works overtime, so he is very snoopy, but has great house manners and loves to play with toys. He is very active and energetic, so he would love an active household to call his own. We have introduced him to young children and he behaved appropriately during the meeting with no jumping. Cats have not been introduced. Frito does well with similar size and larger dogs, likes car rides, and is super smart so he picks up new skills in his training quickly. His rewards do not have to be treats - he loves attention just as much! Frito's adoption fee is $650.00
