Professional Edu-PUPS are dogs that are trained by Domesti-PUPS to work in classrooms. They create a calmer learning environment, teach responsibility, and motivate children to reach their potential. Educators utilize certified therapy dogs in their classroom environment to provide a unique way to enhance learning. Edu-PUPS assist with everything from soothing emotional needs to motivating children to learn. Children who have challenges with reading skills read aloud to the dog who is a non-judgmental participant. In this way, the dog motivates children towards reading. Professional Edu-PUPS come with therapy certification, and personal training with the teacher/handler.
