TSCI Adoptables
Our ADOPTABLES program has been extremely successful. Most of the dogs are spoken for before their training is even completed. If you are interested in adopting a dog through our program, please sign up on our Adoption Application page and we will advise those on our waiting list prior to posting dogs on social media sites or our website.
ABOUT OUR ADOPTABLES PROGRAM
We don't just train dogs, we provide family companions.
Domesti-PUPS is partnered with the the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI), to provide vocational training programs for inmates. In this program we pull dogs from local shelters or private rehoming situations and provide them with 12 weeks of obedience training. The adoptable dog's training begins in this facility, and then continued in the community and your home to help make your relationship successful.
The dogs from our adoptables program will all make wonderful companions. Some are even well suited for emotional support dogs, other dogs may make great therapy dogs either for individuals or facilities.

From time to time we do have puppies available for adoption. Unfortunately not every dog can go on to become a service dog so these dogs are dogs that have been determined not to be service dog candidates but will make wonderful pets or maybe even therapy companions!

What is a career change dog?
A career change dog is a dog that has been raised and trained in our service dog program and has been determined not to be a good fit for service work. Dog raised in the service dog program have advanced obedience training as well as health testing (depending on age of the dog).
