FACILITY THERAPY DOGS
Facility therapy dogs work in a specific facility to improve the lives of people that work or live in that facility. Dogs can be trained to participate in Pet Assisted Therapy for PT and OT patients. They can help alleviate stress in drug rehab, or family abuse sanctuaries. A resident dog can help senior citizens transition to assisted living when they may have giving up their own beloved pet.
