Meet Cameron

Meet Cameron. He’s a six year old boy that has dealt with
Epilepsy for half his life. He deals with over 15 different types
of seizures.

While we think Cameron makes quite a fashion statement with his bright yellow helmet, he wears a yellow helmet to protect him from head injuries during seizures.

Cameron will be receiving a seizure response dog in Domesti-PUPS annual service dog training camp in June 2020.

Cameron’s parents want Cameron’s seizure response dog to
be an extra set of eyes on him. They want the dog to retrieve
Cameron’s medicine bag, and bring the emergency meds when
required. They want Cameron’s new best friend to have a calming effect on him. They want the dog to provide DPT (deep pressure therapy), and to break down social barriers for Cameron. And, they hope that the dog might even alert before Cameron has a seizure (this often depends on the type of seizures a person has, and while we cannot guarantee an alert, many of our service dogs do provide this task over time).

Today, this is your opportunity to make a difference in Cam's life.  Donate now.
